沙头角鱼灯舞起源于明末清初，是深圳沙头角沙栏吓村的一种独特的民间舞蹈，迄今已有300多年历史，是当地逢年过节、拜神祭祖、喜庆丰收的必备节目。

Shatoujiao Fish Lantern Dance is a kind of unique folk dancing, which originated from Shalanxia Villiage, Shatoujiao Town of Shenzhen.

It was started from the end of Ming Dynasty and the beginning of Qing Dynasty,boasts a history more than 300 years，and is a ritual in Lantern Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival and Mazu's birthday to pray for harvest and good fortune.
